From MySpace to NoSpace

After a six month experiment, I pulled the plug on my MySpace page. Thus, you won’t find me on MySpace any longer. It was an interesting experience, but in the end, I found that MySpace was not my cup of tea.

I am thankful to my friend Gina, who set up the page for me in April. I thought it would be a good way to meet some people interested in personal development and spiritual growth and to let others know about my books and other resources.

Yes, I did meet a few interesting people. But the vast majority of the people I met on MySpace were simply there to shout as many times as possible, “Buy My Stuff, Buy My Stuff” and “Here’s an easy way to make lots and lots of money.” The incessant sales pitches wore me down after a while so I deleted my account a few days ago.

MySpace might work well for some, but my spirit is happier being away from MySpace.
